A simpler place for everyday PDF tasks
PDFLane brings 18 tools together for arranging pages, converting supported files, adding overlays and working with document protection. Choose a task, review its limits, process on your device and download a result.
The tools share one principle: document contents are processed in the browser. There is no account to create, document upload service, saved-file workspace or processing queue.
Honest descriptions, useful results
Every tool explains its supported formats and limitations. Compression may return an already compact original. Word export creates editable text paragraphs rather than recreating the page. OCR can make mistakes. Overlay editing is not secure redaction.
Keep your originals and check the result before relying on it. A familiar extension does not guarantee that a PDF fits the supported subset; malformed or unsupported documents are rejected.
How we write the guidance
Tool guides describe the behavior of PDFLane’s implemented browser engines. Examples use simple document tasks and explain tradeoffs alongside instructions. We do not invent ratings, processing guarantees or promises that every PDF will work.
Found a limitation that is unclear or a result that needs attention? The Contact page explains how to report a problem without sharing private documents.
Your files, your device
Selected files and temporary results live in the tab and its processing Workers. Downloads expire from the tab after 15 minutes, and leaving or reloading discards the tab’s retained copies. Files you have downloaded remain on your device.
Read the Privacy notice for document handling, hosting and support information, or visit the Help guide for processing limits.
