Supported files & limits

One PDF up to 4 MB and 20 pages. OCR can instead take one JPG/PNG scan. PDF-to-images and OCR render at most five selected pages, 2 million pixels each and 4 million total. Results: 2 MiB total, temporarily available in this tab for up to 15 minutes.

Supported PDFs include bounded compressed object and cross-reference streams and validated incremental revisions. Forms, attachments, scripts, signatures, hybrid references and unsupported compression remain unavailable. Unlock supported encrypted PDFs first. Images use standard 8-bit PNG or JPEG.

How to add a PDF watermark

Mark selected pages with text such as DRAFT, or use a JPG/PNG image. Adjust placement and opacity so the original content remains readable.

Use a short label and inspect pages with both light and dark content.
A watermark is a visual label. It does not prevent copying, editing or screenshots.

Common questions

Can I use a logo?

Yes, if it is a supported JPG or PNG within the image limits. Its aspect ratio is preserved.

Can I remove an existing watermark?

This tool adds a new watermark. It does not identify or remove marks already present in a PDF.
